About Me
Education has never been just a profession for me—it's been a calling.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving students and families in many roles: special education teacher, Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments, Orientation and Mobility Instructor, executive functioning coach, transition specialist, and school administrator. Each role has given me a unique perspective on what students need to thrive—not just academically, but in life.
Over the years, I noticed something that continually inspired my work. Families often felt overwhelmed by complex educational systems. Educators wanted practical strategies and collaborative support. Students needed someone who could see beyond the paperwork and help them recognize their own strengths and potential.
That realization led me to create Vision to Transition.
My mission is simple: to help students develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need for successful futures while providing families and educators with knowledgeable, compassionate guidance every step of the way.
My work is rooted in collaboration, respect, and individualized solutions. I believe that every student deserves opportunities that align with their abilities, interests, and goals. Whether we're navigating special education services, strengthening executive functioning skills, planning for life after high school, or building inclusive educational practices, I strive to make each step forward purposeful and empowering.
When you work with me, you're gaining more than a consultant—you're gaining a trusted partner who understands both the educational system and the people it serves.
Together, we can transform challenges into opportunities and create pathways to lasting success.
